Cone Volume Calculator
The volume of a cone is one-third of the cylinder with the same base and height: V = πr²h / 3. An ice cream cone 6 cm wide (3 cm radius) and 12 cm tall holds about 113 cm³.
That one-third relationship, proven by Archimedes, applies to funnels, traffic cones, storage piles of sand or grain, and party hats. Use the cylinder volume calculator for straight-sided containers, or the sphere volume tool for balls.
